Bombs and explosives found in Pali and Bharatpur
Jaipur, Jul 29 (UNI) Three crude bombs were found in Marwar in Pali district and 162 Kg explosive material was seized in Bharatpur district in Rajasthan this afternoon.
Bombs, placed in containers, were found on the road near Marwar in Pali district, police said.
The bombs, put in half-litre oil containers, were planted on the Marwar-Ranawas Road at a gap of one km each were spotted by onlookers, a police spokesman told UNI over telephone.
The gun power filled crude bombs with detonator and fuse wire were packed from the top with cement paste.
The authorities soon swung into action, police officials and Bomb Disposal Squads reached Marwar from Pali and Jodhpur later defused them safely, the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, the police also recovered over 1,200 geletine sticks and fuse wire from a mine near Pahadi town of Bharatpur district, a police spokesman told UNI from Bharatpur.
Three mine workers were arrested in this connection, the spokesman said.
