New Delhi, Jul 28 (UNI) Criticising the Umpire Referral System, Australian pacer Brett Lee today said the newly introduced technology would take out the ''human element'' from the game.

Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of Timex- 'Conversation Starters' campaign here, the Oz speedster, who is the Timex Brand Ambassador, said umpiring was better left the way it has been over the years, with limited help of technology.

''I like the human element involved in it. Otherwise, why not stick a robot onto the ground?'' he stated.

''It is good for stumping and run-out decisions but for lbw, I prefer the on-field umpires to take a call as most of the times umpires get it right,'' he added.

Replying to a query about the much hyped Champions' Trophy in Pakistan, the 31-year-old said,''I still don't have any prospection whether we would tour Pakistan. I am not an expert so I would wait for the experts to tell me about the situation.'' ''I would trust people on the ground and what they have to say.

People have been commenting on the matter and they are entitled to their opinions but I don't have any right now,'' Lee said when asked about the reluctance of some his teammates and other players on touring Pakistan in September.

''Whether it is about touring Pakistan, South Africa or India, we wwould go by the decisions of the Cricket Australia (CA), Australia Cricketers' Association (ACA) and the security agencies,'' Lee asserted.

However, he has no issues travelling to India despite the recent serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

On the Indian Premier League (IPL), he said it was overall a good experience with players from around the world spending few moments with each other and performing as a team. ''It always great to try new experiences''.

''There are great moments shared with Punjab King XI team and it was great working with Priety Zinta,'' chuckled Lee.

However, speaking about his budding career as a singer, Lee said he is working on a song which he will perform live during the 2011 World Cup in the Indian sub-continent.

''I am also very excited for my Bollywood debut Victory, starring Amrita Rao and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles,'' Lee added.
