PDP leader survives militant attack, blast injured dies in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 28 (UNI) A senior leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) survived a militant attack on his house while a youth, who was injured in a grenade blast on July 24, died in the hospital today, official sources said.
They said militants attacked the house of Mohammad Amran Shah, Block President of PDP at Dialgam in south Kashmir district of Anantang with automatic weapons.
The guards posted there also retaliated but the militants managed to escape. No one was injured, they said.
One Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, a local, who was among about 25 people injured in a grenade blast at general bus stand, Batmaloo, on July 24, died in the hospital this morning.
Five members of a Bihari muslim family were also killed in the blast.
