Morarka Foundation launches organic products in south India
Bangalore, Jul 28 (UNI) Rajasthan-based Morarka Foundation today made its foray into south India by launching a series of organic products here.
Speaking to mediapersons, Foundation Executive Director Mukesh Gupta said the main advantage of these organic products was that they had no traces of pesticide, fertiliser, heavy metals and solvents of any kind. Besides, they taste better and fresh and preserved the biodiversity and environment, he added.
He said organic farming was a boon to farmers as they did not have to purchase fertilisers or pesticides and could become self-sufficient. The Foundation had the products certified by various international and domestic agencies and the farmers land where the organic farming was in progress was also ONECERT certified.
The organisation had been offering innovative solutions at the grassroots level for sustaining agriculture, he added.
