Docs, engineers to teach kids in Chhattisgarh
Pathalgaon, Chhattisgarh, Jul 28 (UNI) Two homeopathic doctors and three diploma engineers will don the mantle of 'shiksha karmis' (education workers) in Chhattisgarh where they have been appointed on contract in that capacity.
''The professionals successfully appeared for the Shiksha Karmi Class 3 examination and underwent counselling yesterday,'' Jashpur district's Pathalgaon Janpad Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Santosh Kumar Chahne told UNI.
When asked about his decision to quit the medical profession, Dr Jagannath Thakur claimed that he was bored treating patients and that is why he wanted to teach school children.
