Mumbai, Jul 28 (UNI) Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has said the Congress should use the same power, which they used to save their government at the centre, to crush the extreme fundamentalists in the country, who are on a rampage and have attacked two cities, killing at least 51 people.
In an editorial in the party's mouthpiece 'Saamna' titled 'Aika ya kinkalya' (listen these voices), he stressed that criminals and anti-nationals should be afraid of the government and not vice-versa.
He also stressed the need for a new act to counter terrorists and their activities.
He cited instances in the US and China, where the government took all efforts to crush terrorism and did not pay attention to any of the activists of Human Rights Commission or others.
