Bangalore, July 28 : Three days after the serial blasts which rattled IT city Bangalore, the police have definite clue about the groups behind the blasts.

Talking to media after a high level meeting in Bangalore on Monday the Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police R. Sri Kumar has said that the bomb found in Chennapatna about seventy kilometres from Bangalore has definite clues.

However he refused to divulge further details.

Kumar also said that the police were following the clues for the final nailing of culprits. He refused the theory that the blasts were aimed at IT companies.

According to him no one has claimed responsibility for the blasts so far.

Kumar perceives that the Indian Mujahideen is the new avatar of SIMI and refused to say anything on the involvement.

Earlier in the day the Home Minister for State Dr. Acharya said it may be the handy work of SIMI or Mujahideen.

Even after four days after the serial blasts which rattled IT city the police so far has not named anyone.

On Friday, eight small bombs exploded in quick succession across Bangalore city, killing two people and wounding at least 15 people. By Kestur Vasuki
