Paes-Dlouhy go down in Rogers Masters semis

By Staff

Toronto, Jul 27 (UNI) Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy bowed out of the USD 2,615,000 ATP Rogers Masters here after going down 3-6, 6-7 (5) to second seeds Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic in the semifinal.

The Indo-Czech duo mised several opportunities in the contest that lasted an hour and 10 minutes.

They failed to capitalise on any on the four break points that came their way in the opening set.

Paes-Dlouhy put up a stiff fight in the second set but Nestor and Zimonjic thwarted all their attempts to bag the tie.

The Canadian-Serbian duo will now clash with top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan for their third straight title.
