]India and Pakistan to fight terrorism jointly, Soz
Srinagar, Jul 27 (UNI) Union Minister for Water Resources Prof Saifuddin Soz today said India and Pakistan have decided to fight the cult of terrorism and resolve all their issues through dialogue and discussion.
Addressing a public meeting at Narbal Beerwah Prof Soz appealed people to support the dialogue and peace process between the two countries.
The benefit of good relations between the two countries will ultimately reach to the people of the state who have suffered during all these years of turmoil.
Prof Soz, who is also president of the State Congress Committee, said India and Pakistan have committed themselves to increase the trust level between the two countries for which they have taken a number of Confidence Building Measures (CBMs).
He said a number of CBMs are in the pipeline to promote peace in the sub-continent.
Both countries have decided to increase the frequency of Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service. Trade will also be resumed across the Line of Control (LoC) soon, he said.
Prof Soz and those present in the meeting strongly condemned the serial bomb blasts at Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
