Mumbai, Jul 27 (UNI) Authenticity of the email sent by terrorist group Indian Mujahideen, which took the responsibility of the yesterday's Ahmedabad blasts, is to be checked, Mumbai police commissioner today said.
Talking to newspersons, Commissioner Hasan Gafoor said hard disk of the computer has been returned and has been sent to forensic and cyber experts.
Considering the threat mail, Mumbai might be the next target and so the security has been beefed up, he said.
Further investigations were on, he added.
Earlier, Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had traced the IP address of the person, who allegedly sent the email warning, five minutes prior to the serial blasts that rocked Ahmedabad, to an apartment in Navi Mumbai.
