Sangharsh Samiti rejects talks with J
Jammu, Jul 26 (UNI) Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS) today rejected an invitation for initiating dialogue with Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra alleging that the offer by the government was full of ambiguities.
''Mr Vohra is responsible for the Amarnath row and he has spoiled the situation in Jammu,'' Leela Karan Sharma, convenor SAYSS, said while addressing a press conference here.
The administration had played a vital role in flaring up the Amarnath land transfer issue and disturbing the communal harmony of the state, Mr Sharma alleged and asserted that ''Mr Vohra should take an initiative to normalise the tense situation in Jammu, otherwise he will be accountable for any untoward incident during agitation.'' ''We have been invited by the Governor for dialogue but there will be no talks unless Mr Vohra comes clear on the Amarnath issue and accept our demand of returning the land back to the Shrine Board,'' Mr sharma said.
