Rs One lakh reward announced for providing clue
Bangalore, Jul 26 (UNI) Karnataka government today announced a reward of Rs One lakh for providing clue about yesterday's serial bomb blast in which one women was killed and eight people were injured.
City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri told newsmen that the government has announced Rs One lakh reward for information about yesterday's eight bomb blasts that took place in 6 areas.
In the fresh incident police bomb disposal squad have defused a live bomb concealed in a flower plot in Forum Mall in Koramangala area.
Mr Bidri said that "according to initial reports a man wearing striped black T shirt was seen placing the bomb. Steps were taken to nab the culprit. The man's sketch may also be released shortly." A Special team with Mr Bidri as its head has been formed to investigate and nab the culprits.
Mr Bidri said that there was no need to panic since steps have been taken up to ensure safety.
Meanwhile, a five-member team of National Bomb Detectors squad, which arrived from New Delhi, visited the sites and investigating.
