London, July 26 : A cheeky thief who had the gall to steal the cell phone of none other than British royal Prince Harry had admitted to cops that he thought he was simply robbing some 'white guy'.
Harry's phone was nicked while he and his Army pals were relaxing after a day helping to build a school in Buthe Buthe, in Lesotho, Southern Africa.
He immediately informed the police fearing that his contact list would fall into the wrong hands.
The cops eventually found the thief, who admitted that he had no idea who Harry was.
"When we eventually found the culprit it took some time to explain to him that he had stolen from the prince. To him Prince Harry was just one of 'those white guys," the Sun quoted a security source, as saying.
However Harry, 23, chose not to press any charges.
"He was just relieved that his contacts list had not gone astray," a source said.
