Precious metals ease
Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Both the precious metals fell today, with silver easing down by Rs 215 per kg to close at Rs 24,825, while gold by Rs 55 per ten gm to finish at Rs 12,705, on sustain heavy selling pressure by indsutrial users, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
The white metal opened low at Rs 24,865 per kg, on lack of fresh demand from jewellery makers and closed at Rs 24,825, dropping by Rs 215 from its yesterday's close.
Standard gold and pure gold also opened low at Rs 12,715 and Rs 12,770 respectively, amid sluggish demand by stockists.
Later, standard gold and pure gold closed at Rs 12,705 and Rs 12,765 respectively, on persistent offloading by stock holders.
Standard gold and pure gold slipped by Rs 55 and Rs 60 per ten gm respectively, amid mild stockists offerings and discouraging advice from industrial users, traders said.
