Mumbai, Jul 26 (UNI) The two week-long monsoon session of the Maharashtra legislature was prorogued today.
The prorogue orders were read out by Speaker Babasaheb Kupekar in legislative assembly while chairman Shivajirao Deshmukh in council.
The winter session will be held from November 19 at Nagpur.
The two week-long session had actual nine working days and discussion was primarily on drought in the state. Due to drought, one week of the session was curtailed and was attached to winter session.
