Bangalore, Jul 26: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Saturday, July 26, said police will unearth those behind the serial blasts in the city by evening.
Speaking to newsmen here Mr Yeddyurappa, before attending an office bearers meeting of the party, said police would get definite clues about the blasts by evening. A high level team from the centre was expected anytime in the city to assess the situation, he added. Home Minister V S Acharya, who was also present, said all angles including terrorists involvement would be probed before getting at the truth. Mr Acharya was also expected to address a high level meeting by afternoon in this regard.
State Director General of Police R Srikumar suspected that it was the handiwork of some professionals. The government had also announced Rs one lakh reward to those who came forward to reveal about the miscreants, he added saying that gelatine sticks reinforced with metal pieces were used in the blasts.
One woman was killed and seven others were injured in blasts in eight different localities in the city in about an hour yesterday creating panic among the people.
