K R Suresh Reddy to attend Commonwealth meet

Hyderabad, Jul 26: Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy and State Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani would attend a ten-day Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference starting on August 1 at Kaula Lumpur.

Speaking to newspersons here on Saturday, July 26, Mr Chakrapani said Mr Reddy and he himself would attend the Conference from August 4, as delegates from Andhra Pradesh branch of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). Thirty-one delegates, including two from Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal would attend the Conference.

He said democracy, global peace, international order, development of urbanisation and rural decline, global food crisis, budget reforms and parliamentary budget offices, among other topics, would be discussed during the Conference.
