Varanasi, July 25 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today appealed to people to combat terrorism with unity as it was a national issue.
''Terrorism is not just restricted to any state, but adversely associated with the nation as a whole,'' Mr Singh said, while talking to mediapersons here.
''It was sad to note that there was no stern law to deal with the menace in the country till now,'' he noted.
The BJP leader also condemned the serial blasts in Bangalore today.
He further charged the UPA government at the Centre for tarnishing the image of Indian democracy during the Confidence Vote in Lok Sabha.
The UPA has failed in all fronts. The sky-rocketing prices and existing security situation were a testimony to the fact, Mr Singh charged.
