Tirupati, Jul 25 (UNI) Mana Party (MP) Founder-President and MLC Kasani Gyaneshwar today said the people belonging to minority community would rule the destiny of Andhra Pradesh in 2009, as they outnumber the majority community in the state.
Talking to newspersons here, he said reservation should be provided on the population-basis to the backward caste communities, focusing on their economic backwardness in Parliament and Assembly.
Expressing displeasure over the present coalition-dharma followed by the regional and national parties, Mr Gyaneshwar said his party would contest alone in the forthcoming elections.
The Election Commission must ensure that all parties follow their guidelines, he added.
