Ledger's memory to live on in nautical-themed bar
New York, July 25 : Late actor Heath Ledger's memory will live on in Brooklyn in the form of a new nautical-themed bar.
According to the Down by the Hipster website, the 'Brokeback' mountain star was a silent investor in a Greenpoint bar called Five Leaves at the corner of Lorimer and Bedford.
The bar has been designed by and built by John McCormick, who also designed Smith and Mills in Tribeca and the Beatrice Inn in the West Village, reports New York Post. But the project was put on hold by the untimely death of the actor due to overdose of prescription drugs.
However, Ledger's father, Kim Ledger has decided to take forward his unfulfilled commitments and has "released the funds to finish construction as he "knew how much the project meant to Heath.
