Jaipur, Jul 25 (UNI) The Congress today demanded that Leader of the Opposition L K Advani and Chief Ministers of three BJP ruled states including Rajasthan, be included in the purview of the probe to be instituted in infamous incident of waving of wades of currency notes in the Lok Sabha during trust motion debate on July 22.

The party Spokesman Mohan Prakash said while Mr Advani was "clearly guilty" of damaging the decorum of the Lok Sabha for political mileage, by allowing three party MPs to wave and throw wades of notes in the house, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh were also believed to have knowledge and/or role in the entire episode.

Mr Prakash said when Mr Advani was reportedly having knowledge of the alleged bribing transactions it was due on his part to bring the matter to the notice of the Speaker and/or the Police.

"However, instead of doing so, the Leader of the Opposition allowed "political gimmicks" in Lok Sabha in violation of the decorum of the house", the Congress leader said.

He said Congress demanded probe into two aspects, one who had paid the money to whom and for what purpose and secondly role of people, including Mr Advani and Chief Ministers of above 3 BJP ruled states, in creating political drama at the cost of damage to decorum and conventions of Parliament.

Mr Mohan Prakash said Speaker Somnath Chatterjee could decide over the nature and agency for entrusting the probe.
