Blasts trigerred to destabilise State govt: CM
Bangalore, Jul 25 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today described the serial bomb blasts in the city as pre-planned conspiracy to systematically malign his new government that wanted to give good governance.
Speaking to reporters after chairing an emergency cabinet meeting soon after the in seven low intensity blasts went off one after other killing one person and injuring seven others.
"This looks like a plot against my government. It is a cowardly act by destructive forces which want to disrupt the peace and harmony in the city, which is a picture of progress in the world.
This should be condemned strongly," he said.
The Chief Minister said a special police team would immediately launch a probe into the serial blasts.
Refusing to react when asked whether it was a terror act, he just said that the people of the state need not get panic about the blasts and they could lead their daily life as usual without giving any place for rumours.
