Panaji, Jul 25 (UNI) As a part of its nation wide campaign against the UPA government, BJP state unit will organise a public meeting at Porvorim in North Goa on July 27.
''Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu is likely to address the meeting and spread awareness about the immoral manner in which the UPA government had won the vote of confidence in Parliament on July 22,'' Party state unit president and MP Shripad Naik said here today.
This is part of the awareness campaign, the respective Party state units have decided to hold in all capital cities on the same day, Mr Naik said.
Describing July 22 as the black day in the Indian Parliament's history, Mr Naik said the Party would henceforth give tickets only to trusted cadres, to ensure that they continued to be loyal to the Party and abide by its decisions at all costs.
While eight MPs of the Party have been expelled for voting in favour of the UPA government, suitable action would be initiated against those who were absent during the trust vote, he added.
