BJP playing politics over Bangalore blasts: Cong
New Delhi, Jul 25 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today condemned the Bangalore serial blasts as cowardly acts by people wanting to disturb peace in the country, particularly the region.
''Mrs Gandhi also conveyed her condolences to those killed in the blasts and expressed sympathies with their families,'' Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters.
He said the Congress was with the people of Karnataka.
Mr Ahmed also hit out at the BJP for blaming the blasts on the soft attitude of the Centre towards terror and its perpetrators.
'It's very unfortunate that the BJP was playing politics in this hour of crisis,'' he said and added that law and order was a state subject.
