Two kidnapped farmers rescued
Bettia, Jul 24 (UNI) Police today rescued two farmers who had been kidnapped from a village near the Indo-Nepal border in West Champaran district.
Police Superintendent K S Anupam said the farmers, hailing from Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh, were kidnapped on July 10 near Balthara Police Station in West Champaran district.
Acting on a tip off, police raided a hide-out near Indo-Nepal border and rescued the farmers--Bipin Kumar Singh and Rama Shankar Singh--from the clutches of the abductors, he added.
