Three held for duping credit card holders
New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) The Delhi Police claims to have arrested three persons for duping credit card holders.
The three used to pose as executives of various banks offering credit cards. On the pretext of verifying-their applicaon forms, they used to take credit cards from people for photocopying only to return them stolen credit cards already blocked by banks.
The credit cards were then used to make purchases and making ATM withdrawls.
The three were arrested by the Outer district police following a complaint by one Adarsh Khanna who was duped of his ICICI bank credit card.
Several fake PAN cards, ID proofs and cheque books were recovered from Vipin, Hazari and Ghanshyam after a police team arrested them/ The police, however, did not clarify how the accused were arrested.
