New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) The Union Tourism Ministry today said its rebranded "Incredible India" magazine has been a big hit with requests pouring in from Indian Missions abroad for its translation in foreign languages.
The inaugural issue (June/July 08) of the rebranded Magazine, an in-house publication of the Ministry, was released recently, showcasing the rich diversity of the Indian cuisine. The subsequent editions will focus on the other varied attractions of the country.
The copies were distributed to the dignitaries on the occasion of the United Nations World Tourism Organization's (UNWTO) 'Executive Council Meeting' on 13-14 June, 08 at Jeju Island, Republic of South Korea and was "very well received. " An official statement said here today that the Indian Mission at Moscow has requested for the translation in Russian language for the convenience of the potential Russian tourists to India.
There is also a request for a Spanish edition for the Latin American countries and Spain. The High Commissioner of the Indian Mission in South Africa has rated 'Incredible India Magazine' as an excellent 'product' and has requested for additional copies.
"It will be the endeavor of the Ministry to further strengthen the brand Incredible India through the Incredible India Magazine to make it an effective medium for promotion of India as a world class destination for the tourists," the statement said.
