Overseas Placement Bureau to open 3 more nursing centres
Chandigarh, Jul 24 (UNI) Keeping in view the demand of Indian nurses abroad, the Haryana Overseas Placement Bureau has decided to start three more Training Centres for nurses at Faridabad, Hisar and Rohtak in August.
A Bureau spokesman said here today such training centres had already been started at Panchkula, Ambala and Karnal.
The Bureau had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Modi Healthcare Placement (India) Private Limited. It would impart necessary training to the applicants and help them in getting jobs abroad.
Recently, the Bureau had, in collaboration with Elixir (India) Business School and Education Overseas, organised an Overseas education Fair at Karnal in which various Universities and Institutions from Britain, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand, the US, Ireland, Cyprus, Denmark and Malaysia had participated with the objective to provide the information about the various educational courses.
The Bureau had also conducted seminars for admissions to various courses abroad and 45 applicants had been sent to Cyprus, two to Australia, one each to Ireland and Denmark for further studies.
Three more applicants would be sent to Britain soon.
He said the Bureau arranged jobs for 11 applicants in West Asian Middle countries.
