Christian Bale's marriage 'rock solid'

Washington, July 24 : Dark Knight star Christian Bale's eight-year-old marriage to wife Sandra Blazic is 'rock solid'.

Apparently the actor's much hyped spat with his mother Jenny and sister Sharon came after the former passed derogatory remarks about Sandra.

"Bale flew off the handle after his mom, among other things, made a disparaging remark about his wife," E!Online quoted British Daily Mail, as saying.

According to the grapevine, marital troubles were just being brought in to explicate Christian's arrest following his alleged row with his mother and sister.

In contrast the good news is that Warner Bros. the makers of 'Dark Knight' have announced that within mere 5 days of the release the movie has already made 200 million dollars at the box office - an all time record.

Bale, who was pictured with wife Sandra by his side at 'Dark Knight' premier in Spain, avoided any questions about his alleged family tiff.

Bale, who has a three year old daughter Emmeline with wife Sandra would be heading to New Mexico to resume shooting of his new movie Terminator: Salvation.

Purportedly the 'Dark Knight' star had a hissy fit during a shot but the whole drama did not affect the film production schedule either on or off the sets.

As for the bitter situation with the family, Bale's attorney has denied any wrongdoing on his client's part.
