57 held in Jalore for breach of peace
Jaipur, Jul 24 (UNI) As many as 57 people were arrested for breach of peace following a clash between two groups on the Jalore district court premises today.
According to police sources, two groups of the nomadic Jogi community clashed on the district court premises here following old enmity.
The accused came to Jalore from nearby Malnath Ki Dhani and Rama village, to attend the court hearing in connection with some old dispute and suddenly turned violent.
Two people sustained serious injuries in the clash during which batons and sharp-edged weapons were also used.
While one injured was admitted to Jalore District Hospital, the other with severe head injuries was referred to Jodhpur.
The police had nabbed 57 people from both sides under section 151 for disruption of peace, the sources said.
