UPA wearing veil of nuclear deal to hide failures: Uddhav
Nashik, Jul 23 (UNI) Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray today said the UPA government was wearing the veil of the nuclear deal to hide its failure on various fronts.
''The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government is ashamed of showing its face to the people and therefore, it is wearing the veil of the nuclear deal, to hide its failure on various fronts,'' Mr Thackeray said in an interaction with mediapersons here.
Speaking about yesterday's trust vote, the Sena leader said, ''Except one, all the other 11 party MPs followed the orders of the Shiv Sena supremo and voted against the government.'' Regarding absence of Tukaram Renge Patil, Parbhani MP of the Shiv Sena, Mr Thackeray said action would be taken against him after a proper inquiry.
Meanwhile, Tukaram Dighole, former minister and NCP member from Sinnar, will join the Shiv Sena, along with his supporters, in the presence of Uddhav tonight.
