Revenue Collector sent to jail in bribery case
Patna, Jul 23 (UNI) A Revenue Collector was today sent to jail till August 5, by special vigilance court in connection with a corruption case.
Special Vigilance Judge S K Panwar ordered to send Koleshwar Prasad, a Revenue Collector of Mohanpur circle in Gaya, to jail till August 5, after he was produced before the court in connection with the corruption case.
Earlier, Koleshwar was arrested by a sleuth of the state vigilance bureau at Mohanpur block when he was receiving Rs 9,000 as bribe from a person to favour in tax fixation of the land.
