Infotech revenue crosses Rs 2 bn
{image-infotech enterprises_23072008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Hyderabad, Jul 23: Infotech Enterprises today announced that its revenue crossed Rs two billion for the quarter ending June 2008, a YoY growth of 35 per cent in Rupee terms.
In a statement here, Company Chairman and Managing Director B V R Mohan Reddy said in dollar terms, the revenue was recorded $ 48.1 Million for the quarter, a YoY growth of 33 per cent. Operating profits were reported at 18.4 per cent for the quarter, YoY improvement of 60 basis points. He said the profit after tax stood at Rs 245.6 million, an improvement of 89 per cent YoY in rupee terms while in dollar terms, PAT was recorded at $ 5.9 million, an improvement of 87 per cent YoY.
''The company has delivered a robust growth performance during the quarter under review. Revenues crossed Rs two billion for the quarter,'' Mr Reddy said.
''Our geographies, especially North America, have shown strong sustainable performance. Our order inflow is in line with our budgets and we do not see any significant effect of the US slowdown on our order inflow. We continue to make inroads into India and the Asia-Pacific and Middle-East regions,'' he added.
