Five Burmese migrants held in murder charges
Aizawl, Jul 23 (UNI) The Lunglei police in southern Mizoram have held five Burmese migrants, accused of murdering of a Burmese national recently.
Police said they were apprehended on a criminal charges after police exhumed a body of a Burmese migrant at Lunglei.
Bawihliansang, 24, died at Lunglei civil hospital on July 19 allegedly due to liver malfunction, and was buried on the day by Burma Fellowship at Lunglei.
However, on the insistence of the Burma Fellowship, who came to learn that the deceased had quarreled with his fellow migrant labourers some days before, the body was exhumed on Sunday. The Lunglei police then registered a case and arrested the five migrants for questioning.
