Bhubaneswar, July 23 (UNI)Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the four-day long national conference of the All India Tour Operators Association beginning here on August 7.
Around 1200 representatives from different parts of the country are expected to participate in the prestigious meeting.
A preparatory meeting of the state administration was held today under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy to see that the meet passed off smoothly.
The meeting decided to give a rousing welcome to the delegates at the airport and take the participants to prominent tourist spots of the state during their stay in the state.
Eminent artists would present Odissi dance and folk songs of the state every evening for the entertainment of the guests.
In addition to it seminars, symposiums and group discussions would be organised every day and steps would be taken to keep the tourist spots neat.
Instruction was issued to officers concerned to tighten the security in and around the tourist spots and ensure that no untoward incident was reported from anywhere during the visit of the delegates.
