Abyaya case: CBI submits narco-analysis CD HC
Kochi, Jul 23 (UNI) The CBI today submitted to Kerala High Court a compact disc (CD), containing the visuals of the narco-analysis tests conducted during investigation in the Sister Abhaya case.
CBI Counsel M V S Namboodiri submitted the CD to the court in a sealed cover before Justice V Ramakumar.
The High Court had earlier directed the CBI to produce the CD containing the visuals of the narco-analysis tests conducted on Father Jose Puthrikae, Father Thomas Kottur and Sr Sephy last year.
The direction was given on a petition filed by Mr M Thomas, the father of the deceased nun, who contended that the CBI was not conducting the investigation expeditiously.
The body of the 21-year-old nun was found in a well in St Piux Convent at Kottayam in March, 1992. She was allegedly sexually assaulted before her death.
