3 Oberoi hotels ranked amongst 6 best in world

Mumbai, Jul 23 (UNI) Three Oberoi hotels have been ranked amongst the six best in the world in Travel and Leisure World's Best Awards 2008.

Jaipur's Oberoi Rajvilas, Udaipur's Oberoi Udaivilas and the Oberoi Amarvilas of Agra has been rated second, forth and sixth respectively, a release stated.

The Travel and Leisure World's Best Awards are acknowledged amongst the most revered rankings in the international travel industry, the release said.

The Oberoi hotels Rajvilas, Udaivilas and Amarvilas have also been ranked first, second and third respectively in Asia.

This ranking is the result of a readers' poll conducted by Travel and Leisure, the world's leading travel magazine. It is the readers who define excellence in travel by rating their experiences and evaluating hotels across the world on characteristics ranging from rooms, facilities, location and service to restaurants, food and value.

The Oberoi Group Chairman P R S Oberoi said, ''I am delighted and proud of these rankings. The rankings in the year 2007 were good.
