'UPA, NDA colluded to keep Dalit beti away from PM gaddi': Mayawati
New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP Chief Mayawati today alleged that both UPA and Opposition NDA had entered into a secret understanding to keep out a daughter of a Dalit to become the Prime Minister of the country.
In her initial reaction, the BSP chief told mediapersons that both the coalitions despite being on opposite sides had colluded to ensure that she could not occupy the post of Prime Minister.
"Efforts were made to break the BSP MPs even till the last minute", she alleged.
She said people were aware how the CBI was 'misused' to build up pressure in the last few weeks but the tactics did not work in her case. The BSP has secured unprecedented gains in the last one week and the party has emerged as a key player on the national scene transcending geographical borders of the states, she said.
