Chandigarh, Jul 22 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the victory of the UPA government in the Confidence Motion in the Lok Sabha was a testimony of the people's faith in its progressive policies.
Congratulating UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Mr Hooda said: ''This victory is a result of the people's trust and faith in the progressive policies of the Congress and the UPA.'' In a statement here, Mr Hooda said the people of the country would not forgive those who created obstacles in the government efforts to ensure nuclear power for India.
He said the Haryana government was also making efforts towards setting up a nuclear power plant at Kumharia in Fatehabad district of the state.
