Chandigarh, Jul 22 (UNI) In a minor administrative shake-up, the Punjab Government today ordered transfer and posting of seven Indian Administrative Services officers with immediate effect in the state.
The services of Mr Karan A Singh, Secretary, PWD (B and R) has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Industries and Commerce for appointment as M D., PSIDC vice Mr Anurag Verma.
Mr S S Rajput has been divested of the charge of Secretary, Personnel and General Administration while his services have been retained in the Department of Industries and Commerce as MD., PSIEC.
Mr Jasbir Singh Bir, who is available for posting, has been posted as Secretary, Personnel and in addition Secretary, General Administration.
Mr Kulbir Singh, M.D., Punjab Warehousing Corporpation, has been transfered and posted as Secretary, P W D (B and R) vice Mr Karan A Singh, and in addition Commissioner, Gurudwara Elections.
Mr S K Ahulwalia, Commissioner, Patiala Division, has been given additional charge as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala vice Mr M P Arora, PCS.
Mr Iqbal Singh, Secretary, Public Grievances and pensions, has been transfered and posted as M D, Punjab Warehousing Corporation vice Mr Kulbir Singh.
Mr Anuragj Verma, M.D., PSIDC, has been posted as Special Secretary, Revenue, against a vacant post.
