London, July 22 : Instead of running away with the goods he had stolen from a sex shop, a kinky burglar decided to try on some of the sexy clothes at the shop itself.

The burglar, who was caught on CCTV throwing a concrete block through the window of 'sexy superstore' Pulse and Cocktails in Skegness, was spotted going behind the counter after he entered the shop.

But instead of heading for the till, the bald man was seen pulling stockings and a pink wig from the shelves, and snatching some naughty knickers off the racks and two pink PVC nurses outfits.

After he had an armload of goods he headed for the back room of the shop where he was spotted pulling off his top, seemingly to try the items on. He then re-emerged and chose another wig as the shop's alarm was ringing.

Still not satisfied with what he had taken and still half-dressed, he went over to the shop's window and grabbed the shop dummy which was dressed in a French maid's outfit with 'baby' pink fishnet stockings and pink knickers.

The burglar then dropped the mannequin before choosing another wig and as he was leaving the shop, the dummy's legs dropped off. For shop manager Louise Whenman, 40, from Skegness, she found the whole incident, which left a bill of 600 pounds, as 'unreal'.

"He came in for an outfit - he didn't even attempt to touch the tills," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"If only he had come into the shop in the daytime, we could have shown him many more outfits and helped him find the right size."

"He would have been devastated - the outfit on the dummy was a small and he would have needed a large," she said.

The mannequin was later found outside an optician's and was returned to the shop.

"She's now dressed as a dominatrix in the bondage section," she added.

The whole CCTV escapades of the burglar's, in the early hours of June 27, was leaked on to the Internet.

Police confirmed that they had carried out an investigation and appealed for information.

"We haven't managed to trace the man but the investigation is ongoing," a spokesperson said.
