Ft Lauderdale, US, Jul 21 (UNI) Indian swimmer Sandeep Sejwal gave his preparations for the Beijing Olympics a shot in the arm, winning one silver and one bronze medal at the Speedo Champions Series-South Zone South Sectional held here from July 17-20.
Sejwal finished second in the 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:04.04sec and finished third in the 200m Breaststroke clocking 2:18.98sec.
This was the 19-year-old Sejwal's last preparatory meet in the lead up to the Olympics. His timings are very good considering that it comes at the end of a tough training cycle.
