Canara Bank Q1 net profit down by 49 pc
Mumbai, July 21 (UNI) Canara Bank today reported a 49 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 122.68 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal, against Rs 240.55 crore during the same period a year ago.
The total income has increased to Rs 4,099.05 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2008, as compared to Rs 3,760.07 crore during the corresponding period last fiscal, the Bank informed the BSE.
