We are in Talks with BSP MPs: Amar Singh
New Delhi, Jul 20: Samajwadi Party is in talks with BSP MPs said party general secretary Amar Singh to the media on Sunday, July 20. Meanwhile, the Bahujan Samaj Party has increased its scathing attacks on bitter rival the Samajwadi Party. And as a dangerous sign, rebel SP MP Munawar Hasan has said that by Monday, July 21, Behenji will have 10 more MPs from SP with her.
''All preparations to vote out the government have been made and 10 rebel SP MPs will join us on Monday. These MPs will support Mayawati on Monday,'' he said. ''Under Mayawati's leadership, we will defeat the Central government,'' Hasan told reporters after meeting the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should tender his resignation before the trust vote, he said.
''We are 100 per cent sure that we will defeat the government in the trust vote. You will be surprised to see who will vote against the government,'' he said.
Hasan, along two other rebel SP MPs Raj Narain Budholiya and Jai Prakash Rawat, met Mayawati in the morning.
