Scuffle between Congress workers and police
Mandsaur, MP, Jul 19 (UNI) A scuffle today took place between Youth Congress workers and police when the former tried to wave black flags against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Police used mild force and lobbed tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. In the meantime, stone-pelting took place injuring one person.
Youth Congress workers, staging a demonstration, led by state Youth Congress President Jitu Patwari, were going to wave black flags against the Chief Minister when police tried to stop them and stone pelting began.
Six Youth Congress workers, including Mr Patwari, and a policeman was injured. They were discharged after administering primary treatment at the district hospital.
