Raje hosts dinner for BJP MPs

Jaipur, Jul 19 (UNI) Over a dozen BJP MPs from Rajasthan participated in a meeting and dinner hosted by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at her official residence here this evening.

Party MPs Raghbir Singh Kaushal. VP Singh, Giridhari Lal Bharagava, Ram Swaroop Koli, Dushyant Singh, Bhanwar Singh Dangawas and Nihal Chand participated in the dinner-meeting aimed at keeping a tab on political developments ahead of the crucial trust vote by the Manmohan Singh Government on July 22.

The ruling BJP presently holds 21 of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats from the state.

The dinner meeting assumes significance in the wake of rumours about the possibility of cross voting by a couple of party MPs from the state during the July 22 vote of trust.

However, BJP spokesman has ruled out possibility of cross voting by any of the party MP.
