Market analysts see good opportunities in stock

Kochi, July 19 (UNI) Though the stock markets are going through a difficult period, the investors have good opportunities to pick up good scrips, financial market analysts said today.

Speaking at an investor camp, organised by the CNBC-TV18 here, Mr Ramesh Damani, Member, BSE, said people who had lost money during the bear market could regain it during the bull market.

Because of the oil price rise and inflation, even in the event of GDP growth, stock market was not growing, he said.

Returns from the stock market in the next five years may be more subdued than the previous five years, he added.

Mr Udayan Mukherjee, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV18, said short-selling in the bear market would make a good gain.

Technical analyst Ashwin Gujral said notwithstanding the temporary loss, those who could sustain in the business would be able to make money.

''You must have patience, otherwise you will become a patient'' he quipped.
