SpiceJet Ex-CEO Siddhanta joins InterGlobe
New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Mr Siddhanta Sharma, who recently resigned as Executive Chairman of low cost carrier SpiceJet, has joined InterGlobe Enterprises, an aviation hospitality group.
He will take charge as Executive Director (Corporate Affairs) of the Gurgaon-based company on August 1, InterGlobe Group Managing Director Rahul Bhatia said in a press statement today.
Mr Sharma will contribute to InterGlobe's business interests which include IndiGo airline and InterGlobe General Aviation which represents HawkerBeechcraft.
He will also look after the development and management of hotels in partnership with the French major Accor, distribution of Travelport's Galileo GDS, Travel technology and ITeS, and travel management for several international airlines and carnival cruises.
''Sid brings with him a wealth of knowledge, understanding and management experience across industries including domestic aviation,'' Mr Bhatia said.
''InterGlobe's rapidfire growth requires us to not only reinforce our current skills but build new ones to take us to the next level.''
