Sena candidate made difference in Aurangabad: Gadkari
Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today held Shiv Sena responsible for the defeat of Party's candidate Shrikant Joshi in graduate's constituency of Aurangabad.
Talking to reporters after achieving the fifth consecutive victory from Nagpur graduate's constituency since 1989, Mr Gadkari said the party is happy to win three out of five seats and added that Aurangabad decision could have gone in favour of BJP, had Shiv Sena candidate not been there.
''We will try to avoid such incidents henceforth,'' Gadkari said.
''This issue has not affected our alliance,'' he added.
Apart from Nagpur, BJP candidates won both the graduates and teachers constituency and lost in Amravati teachers and Aurangabad graduates constituency.
