Srinagar, Jul 18 (UNI) Describing ensuing meeting of the Pakistan- India Technical Working Group on Kashmir-related Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), as the right step, the chairman of the moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq said no peace in the sub-continent was possible without resolving the Kashmir issue.

Addressing a Friday congregation at historic Jamia Masjid here this afternoon the Mirwaiz said he will be leaving for Delhi tomorrow to meet the Pakistan foreign secretary, who is arriving in India for a two-day meeting with his Indian counterpart from tomorrow.

The Hurriyat chairman said the CBMs between Indian and Pakistan are a step towards right direction. However, he said despite CBMs the ground situation in the Kashmir valley has not changed.

Youths are being killed and tortured after their arrest, he said adding the Human Rights (HR) violation graph has increased even after zero tolerance promises by Indian leaders.

He said he will inform the Pak secretary about the grass HR violations being committed by Indian troops.

''I will inform him about the thousands of unidentified graves discovered in different parts of the valley so that he could take the matter with Indian foreign secretary,'' Mirwaiz said.

He said it is right time to resolve the Kashmir issue once for all so that people in the region could live in peace.
